We at The Free Bird are here to serve you quick and tasty, all natural and organic food and drinks on the fly. We are offering the best coffee in town, smoothies, home made chai tea, baked goods, soups, salads, and delicious meat and veggie pot pies.
Located in the heart of South Lake Tahoe, right on highway 50, and also right on the bike path, we are easy to find. Look for us next time you are in town, whether you are on your way to the beach or the mountain, we will be here to serve you up some goodness on the fly!

We offer a full espresso bar and fresh drip coffee. We use organic milk, soy milk, or rice milk, to go with our organic coffee. We also offer melitta, fresh hand dripped coffee, as well as Toddy (cold brew), which is the best ice coffee in the world!
All of our food and drinks are all natural, and from sources as local as possible. We have as much organic food as we can, and all our coffee and milk for our espresso drinks is organic.

We are in a small location, and are mostly a to go operation, but we have some lovely outdoor seating in the summer, right by the most beautiful meadow and the bike path.
